LIFETEEN is an international Catholic Youth Program for High School Program. Here at St Paul Cathedral, we have been utilizing the LIFETEEN Model since 1997. LIFE TEEN begins with a 'youth-oriented' TEEN Mass on Sunday evenings at 7:00 pm in the Cathedral. After celebrating Mass, high school youth are invited to our "LIFENITE" youth group. During our LIFENITEs, teens will participate in games and activities that will build fellowship, followed by a teaching on important issues (mortality, depression, sexuality, etc.) affecting their lives and how to respond in light of our Catholic Faith. Teens need not be Catholic to attend.
SPY (St Paul Youth) Edge is our middle school program for grades 6-8, and it follows the LIFETEEN model with age-appropriate content. During the school year, SPY Edge meets on Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:30 pm.
Confirmation at St Paul Cathedral is open to 8th-grade and High School students. Requirements for Confirmation include participating in a Confirmation retreat, regularly attending LIFENITEs after the LIFETEEN Mass, and the Confirmation classes beginning in the Spring. Registration will start in September.
